W. H. Barrett Rites Saturday

William Hoyt Barrett, 60, of 1518 Pearl, died in a local hospital Wednesday night following an extended illness.

Born Sept. 9, 1909, at Dewey, he moved to Duncan in 1929 from Oklahoma City. Barrett, assistant supervisor in the accounts receivable section at Halliburton Services, worked at First National Bank and Security National Bank before being employed at Halliburton.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Duncan. Sur-vivors are his wife, Celestia, of the home; his step-mother, Mrs. L. E. Read, of Oklahoma City; a foster son and nephew, Val Ray Ammer, stationed with the Air Force in Shreveport, La., another nephew, B. R. Ammer, of Oklahoma City; and his mother-in-law, Mrs. J. B. Deavenport, of 1306 Pine.

Service will be in the First Baptist Church at 10:30 a. m. Saturday. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Bearers will be Noel Russell, Leroy Tucker, Jack Butler, Lloyd Lawrence, Marvin Van-landingham, and John Sharp.
Honorary bearers will be Dr. E. C. Lindley, Dr. C. H. Smith, Dewey Lance, L. M. Williams, Gabe Frensley, Jack Sampson, and L. P. Byerley.
