"Funeral services for Leslie Blackstock, 34, were held at the Rogers Church of Christ on Monday, Nov. 27, at 3 p. m. This news was contained in a letter to the Cameron Herald from Mrs. Beuna Chambers of Rogers.

Mr. Blackstock was born and reared at Bryant Station, but had lived in Houston since early manhood. In 1928 he was married to Miss Floy Lee of Houston and to this union two children were born, Barbara Jean, aged 9, and Floy Jeanette, aged 7, both of whom survive him in addition to his widow.

Mr. Blackstock had been ill for almost a year and had been at the home of his parents for the past five months.

Rev. J. D. Baren, minister of the 7th Street and Avenue G Church of Christ in Temple preached the funeral sermon and T. W. Jacobs of Rogers led the song service. Interment was made at Bryant Station with Skinner Brothers in charge."
