ODESSA-- Ferne C. Bingham, 77, of Odessa passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was born April 2, 1924, in Cleburne to Charles "Roland" and Esther Chadwell.
Ferne came to Odessa in 1943. She married Carl D. Bingham Sr. Dec. 31, 1943, in Odessa. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church. She loved arts and crafts.
Her parents; brother, Dick Chadwell; and her husband preceded her in death.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with Don Caywood Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will hold visitation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 29, 2001, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
The family has requested memorials to Hospice of Odessa, American Cancer Society and United Parkinson Association.
