Frank C Baily, a well known citizen, died at his home Monday morning, August 7, at 6:45 o'clock after a few days' illness of pneumonia. Mr. Baily was a son of Joseph T and Martha Lee Baily and was born in Brownsville, April 16, 1864, but had spent the greater part of his life in or near Carmichaels. He had been engaged in the lumber and sawmill business for a number of years. Mr. Baily was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was active in church work. Besides his wife, Mrs Launa Minor Baily, he leaves three children, Carl S of Carmichaels and Swissvale; Mrs. James L McPherson of San Diego, Calif, and Mrs. William B Harned of Allentown, Pa; five grandchildren and one brother, Eli F Baily of Carmichaels. The funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev H F Kellogg assisted by his former pastor, Rev A E Rodkey. Interment in Laurel Point Cemetery.
