GERMANIA -- Bertha Sawyer, 90, Germania, died Tuesday in Sunnyview Nursing Home, Princeton.

Mrs. Sawyer was born Nov. 2, 1894, in Richford, the daughter of William and Augusta Zehrke Ebert. She married Rudolph Bliesnick Feb 28, 1912. He died May 6, 1940. She married Harry Sawyer Dec. 4, 1943**, in Berlin. He died Jan. 22, 1977.

Surviving are eight daughters, Mary Sommerfeldt, Esther Schlieppe, and Dorothy Ebert, all of Ripon, Alice Wielgosh and Rose Witt, both of Montello, Lorraine Gruber, Germania, Adeline Harmon, Briggsville, and Evelyn Hoffman, Green Lake; two sons, Albert Bliesnick, Fairwater, and Robert Bliesnick, Waupun; 41 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Wachholz Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Walter Strohscheim officiating. Burial will be in the Little Mecan Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
