Evansville Courier and Press, Evansville, Indiana, 5 Aug 1912 - Three months after her husband was killed by a train at a West Side crossing, Mrs. Sarah Yearwood, an aged woman living at 320 Goodsell Street, fell as she tried to climb into a wagon at Mt. Vernon, Ill., and is in critical condition. Her arm is broken and her advanced age and weakness due to grief over her husband's sudden death account against her recovery, physicians say. She is the widow of Samuel Yearwood, an L. & N. crossing watchman. She is known and loved by hundreds on the West Side where she lived for many years and where she is called "Aunt Sarah."
