Agnes Anna Wiese, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Quality Care of Waco. Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 11 First Lutheran Church, 1008 Jefferson in Waco with Rev. Dan Brandt officiating. Burial will follow at Old Rock Church Cemetery in Cranfills Gap. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8:00 pm, Friday, March 10 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, 6101 Bosque.

Agnes was born to William Carl Wiese and Mathilde Klostermann Wiese June 30, 1912 in Moody, Texas. She grew up in Bosque County and attended Possum Trot School in Iredell. She was baptized into the Christian faith at The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Moody on August 25, 1912 and confirmed at St. Olaf in Cranfills Gap on June 10, 1928. She was a seamstress at J. M. Wood Mfg. Co. for many years before retiring from Double L Apparel in 1982. Agnes was an active member of First Lutheran Church and participated in the ladies circles and 50+. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and loved to make rosettes for her family. After moving to Quality Care, she became active in the resident programs there. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Quality Care for the loving care given to Agnes and the support given to the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by her sisters, Clara Samuelson and Erna (Ernie) Samuelson of Waco and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews and great nephews.
