Mrs Georgianna Williams, 79, of 135 Bouck St., died Tuesday night in a Rome Hospital, where she had been a patient two weeks. Native Roman, she was born March 13, 1878, daughter of Bob and Christian VanDeusen Wilson, and had resided in Rome most of her life, attending Rome schools.
She was the widow of Solomon Williams, who died in May, 1941. Mrs. Williams was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (June) Zaro, Roosevelt, L. I.; a niece, Mrs. Jackson (Maude) VanCamp, Rome, and four nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Belton, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Wright Settlement Cemetery.
