Graveside services for Carolyn Mae Clarkson, 77, of Junction City, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Bellevue Cemetery by the Rev. Travis Farris. She died Monday at Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington. Born May 25, 1926, in Washington County, she was a member of the Methodist church and had been a carrier for The Advocate-Messenger for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Clarkson of Junction City; a daughter, Judy Pittman of Junction City; a son, James L. Butler of Paoli, Ind.; and several grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cocanougher, Edwin Finley, Curtis Holmes, Troy Maddox, Josh Fugate and Marty Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Advocate carriers. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.
