Mr. Charles K. "Chuck" Allen of Prairieville, Louisiana, died Monday, September 15, 2014. Mr. Allen was 81 years old. He was a wood worker by trade, a machinist, and a Livingston Parish Deputy. He also received the Purple Heart for his service in the Korean War. Mr. Allen was the son of the late Lucien and Iris Rush Allen.

Nr, Allen is survived by his wife: Winnie West Allen; his daughters, Dana, Patty, Debbie, and Lavender; son, Tony; sisters, Joan and Marion; brothers, Willard, Jerry, and Doyal; grandchildren, Aimee, Joseph, Christine, Sara, Dylan, Brian, Keegan, Chelsi, Chelsea, Paul IV, Morgan Rose, and Darby Lane; and great grandchildren, Noah, Madilyn, Amelia, Avery, Michael, and Alexandria; other relatives; and many good ole friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister: Barbara; and his brothers: Howard and Richard.

Funeral services were held on Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Louisiana.
Burial to follow in Faithful United Methodist Church Cemetery.
