Mrs. Alice C. Harriger, 89, died at 12:08 a. m. today at her home, 120 East First Street, after an illness of several weeks.

She was born at Kossuth, on Feb. 21, 1864, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Ann Gilbert, and spent her early years there.

She married Andres [sic] Harriger on Dec. 10, 1883 [sic], and came to Oil City in 1892, residing here since. Mr. Harriger died Nov. 27, 1933.

Mrs. Harriger was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Floyd D. and Gurnon of Oil City, and a daughter, Mrs. Twila H. Mohnkern, of Buffalo; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

Mrs. Harriger was the last surviving member of her family, a pioneer Clarion County family.

The body has been taken to Crawford Funeral Home. Funeral arrangement will be announced.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice C. Harriger, 89, of 120 East First Street, Oil City resident since 1892 and widow of Andrew J. Harriger who died Sunday midnight in her home after a 10-day illness, will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Crawford Funeral Home.
Rev. C. T. Miller, pastor of Calvary Evangelical Church, and Rev. B. E. Coleman, of Franklin, will officiate and burial will be in the Phipps Cemetery at Elmo.
