Clement Joseph Cahanin, age 55, a native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area passed away on Sunday September 7, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on October 29, 1958 in Port Acres, Texas to his parents Clement and Gertie Quibodeaux Cahanin who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his two brothers Carl Cahanin and Charles Cahanin.

Clement retired as a foreman in the Water Department with the City of Beaumont. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, having an occasional beer and most of all listened to his favorite French music on Sunday mornings on the radio.

He is survived by his wife Becky Lynne Cahanin of Beaumont, sons; Donald Wayne Cahanin of St. Petersburg, Florida and Clement Joseph Cahanin, Jr. of Kountze, Texas, daughters Darla Marie Cahanin of St. Petersburg, Florida and Amy Cahanin of Kountze, Texas. Also surviving are his sister Mary Ann Cahanin of Kountze, Texas and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 19, 2014 from 4pm until 8pm with the reciting of the rosary at 6pm at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be on Saturday September 20, 2014 at 10am at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
