Chaffee - Mrs. James Slayden of Chaffee, died Sunday at Chaffee General Hospital. She was 59 years old.
The former Miss Aileen Boyts was born March 24, 1921, in Puxico, the daughter of the late John Boyts and Mrs. Marie Harbin Boyts, who survives. She married Mr. Slayden on June 9, 1945.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a brother, Stirling Boyts.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church here. Burial will be in the Union Park Cemetery here.
