Rome~ Funeral services for Mrs. Flora H. Cagwin, 96, of Blossvale, will be held at 2 Saturday from the Mae F. Strong Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rathbunville Cemetery.
She died in a Utica hospital yesterday after a long illness.
She was born in New London on Jan. 30, 1860. On April 21 1881 she married George W. Cagwin in New London and the couple lived there for a time before coming to Rome about 1898. She had been employed by the Rome State School for about 30 years before retiring 36 years ago. Since that time she had made her home with her son, Clarence L. Cagwin, Blossvale R. D. 1. Mr Cagwin died Aug 29, 1931. Surviving, besides her son are five grandchildren, Mrs. Howard Wright, Howard Cagwin of
Blossvale. R. D. 1, Mrs. Richard Balckburn of Rochester, Harold Bessie; a niece, Mrs. Florence Stone of Mohawk.
