Thos. Ausbury of Industry Twp. died at his home last Saturday and was buried Sunday at the Pennington’s Point burial grounds. He was aged about 80 years and had lived in the county for over 50 years.
[Note: Thomas was married twice. First to Agnes Shannon 11/1/1835 in McDonough Co., IL. After her death he remarried Lucinda (Nunn) Vawter, a widow with one daughter. They had nine children: William Jasper, John H., Isaac Newton, Ingram N., Thomas Wesley, Anthony Wayne, Martin Luther, Mary Ellen and Lusettie F.]
