IN MEMORY OF OUR DEAR FATHER. - Our father, E. J. Barfield, who has passed into the Great Beyond on Oct. 27, 1915, God called him home. He lived to be 67 years of age. He was sick for a long time, but he bore his suffering with patience, and in his last hours prayed to God to take him home. Oh, how we miss him, no human tongue can tell, but God's will, not ours, be done. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn his death. All was done that loving hands could do, but all in vain. May God's richest blessings rest on our good doctor and our many friends.
His remains were laid to rest at Pine Level to await the resurrection. Signed: Mrs. H. H. Jolly
