Mrs. Mary Alberta Deatrick, 80, wife of Grant Deatrick, Gettysburg R.4., died at the Warner Hospital Monday morning at 1:10 o'clock from a complication of diseases. She had been a patient at the hospital for two weeks.

Mrs. Deatrick was born and always resided in Tyrone Twp., a daughter of the late George and Mary (Getz) Meckley. She taught public school in Tyrone Twp. for three years and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Heidlersburg, where she was a Sunday School teacher for 50 years.

Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married 56 years; four sisters: Mrs. Charles Deatrick of New Oxford; Mrs. Clara Cashman of New Oxford; Mrs. Margaret Rothenberger of Pennsburg; and Mrs. Alice Weidner of York.
