Wednesday 20 February 1924 Santa Cruz Evening News, Page One--Miss May Heidt Succumbs To Long and Hopeless Fight--For the fifth time within a few years death visited the home of Mrs. LauraHeidt, 133 Hanover street, today, when May E. Heidt, her daughter, passed fromlife.Miss May E. Heidt was a native of California and was 20 years, 11 monthsand 22 days old.A sister died in June, and it was at about the same time that Miss May, whohad been in Arizona for her health, returned to Santa Cruz.With her family she had been a resident of this city for the past 10 years and left to mourn her loss is her, mother, brother and sister.The Chase undertaking parlors will be the scene of the funeral services,but other arrangements have not as yet been made.
