Services for Robert Hill Morton, 67, retired oil field driller, will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist church. He died Saturday night in an Ardmore hospital after a brief illness.
Morton was born in Fall River, Kan., and came here with the discovery of the Healdton oil field some 35 years ago.
He is survived by his wife Sinia; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Wilkerson, Wilson, and Miss June Morton, Oklahoma City; three brothers, Arthur, John and Harrison, all of Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wales, Oswego, N.Y.; and Mrs. Rebecca Watters, Yakima, Wash., and two grandchildren.
Leslie is arranging burial in Hewitt cemetery.
