George Curtis Knisley died June 29, 1932. He was born Nov. 12, 1848 in Green County Wisconsin. He was one of a large family, there being five boys and four girls. In early youth his family moved to Bates County Missouri. He married Laura Joesphine Shepherd on Nov. 24,1873. The home was blessed with seven children. Ezra Calvin, John Alonzo (Lon), Charles Clarence, Mazy Bell, Katie Lora, Nancy Lula, Edith Estelle.
