Brenda Joyce Burrow Allen, age 69, of Asheboro died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Christian Church Ministries, 1565 Covenant Mountain Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Lois Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Ms. Allen was born in Asheboro on August 8, 1944 to Virgil and Annie Davidson Burrow, who preceded her in death. She was retired from B&H Furniture of Asheboro and attended Covenant Christian Church Ministries.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy Allen Trogdon and husband Scott of Seagrove, April Allen Davidson and husband Doug of Sophia; grandchildren, Patrick Pierce of Seagrove, Dakota, Dylan, and Ashley Davidson all of Sophia; sisters, Mattie Sue Hodge and husband Don, Cynthia Blackburn of Asheboro; and brother, Virgil "Buck" Burrow, Jr. all of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at her home
