John R. Reuszer, 84, a retired farmer, died at 4:10 am Tuesday at the Latham Sanitarium where he had been a patient since Monday. He had been in ill health for several years.
Born in Jamestown, May 2, 1874, he was the son of John and Rosena Reuszer. He was married to Miss Emma Kuhn in 1902. She died March 15, 1936.
Mr. Reuszer had lived four years with his daughter, Mrs. Charles W. Stock, of west of California.
Surviving in addition to his daughter are two sons, Herbert Reuszer of West Lafayette, Ind., and Walter Reuszer of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Ulrich Bieri of near Jamestown, Mrs. John Brosie of California, Mrs. Carrie Donnell of Kansas City and Mrs. C.E. Schulze of Turpin, Okla.; two brothers, Fred B. Reuszer of Liberal, Kans. and Henry C. Reuszer of Hooker, Okla.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church here with the Rev. F. Reith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
