Baker announcing the death of their daughter, Mrs. J. R. Pound which occurred shortly after 12 o'clock, midnight, July 22, 1910, at their home at Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Mrs Pound was a young woman her age being only 27 years, 5 months, 14 days. Fatima G. Baker became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church when about eighteen and was always a faithful helper and worker in the church. In 1902 she was married to J. R. Pound of Audubon and continued to reside here until 1907 when they moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma. When they went there among strangers Mrs Pound sought and united with the Methodist church where she continued her work for the Master. She was blessed with a sweet disposition which won for her many friends. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and three daughters, Ruth, Naomi and Beulah; and two step-children, Miss Lena Harriet Pound and Earl T. Pound, also a father and mother and a brother and family. The family brought the body back to the old home arriving here Sunday noon. The funeral was held that afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of her father, I. P. Baker. The services being conducted by Rev. Dr. Morley, pastor of the M. E. Church and burial took place in Maple Grove cemetery. CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank our neighbors and many friends for their kind assistance and sympathy during our bereavement. Mr. J. R.
