Mrs. Henry Anna Schnurr, Granville, 88 years old, died Monday, July 31, 1989, at the Marion Health Center, Sioux City, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 29, 1901, at Pipestone, Minnesota. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Ahles (Mary Thorman, mother, and Nicholas Ahles, father.)

She moved to the Granville area when she was about 5 years old where she was raised and educated.

She married Henry on Sept 29, 1925, at Granville.

The couple farmed near Granville until 1937 when they moved into Granville. They moved into Sioux City in Dec. 1985.

She is a Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Granville, and St. Boniface's Catholic Church in Sioux City.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 3, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church _in Granville with Rev. Robert W. Gralapp officiating.

Burial will be in St Joseph's cemetery under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.
