Three veterans from two wars were honored with a grave marking on 15 August 2009 near St. Marys, Ohio, by the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Ohio. The three men are buried in the Hudson Cemetery which is now located on a private farm.
The first veteran honored was Private Bennett W. Langley who served in Captain Charles Hilliard's Company, Ohio Militia, during the War of 1812. Langley served his tour of duty from 22 February to 21 August 1813.
