Age 81, of Richland Center died Tuesday, at Our House Memory Care surrounded by her family. She was born in Boaz the daughter of Harold and Rozella (Slaine) Boak. On September 19, 1987 she married at the American Legion. Ruth worked at the Park Hotel and as a CNA for Riverdale Manor, House Calls, and Homeward Bound retiring at the age of 75. In addition to raising her own children she also raised several other children. Ruth enjoyed making ceramics, being a Girl Scout Leader, Hilltoppers Color Guard Chaperon, playing cards, drinking coffee, fishing and camping. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Jenny Young, Mavis (Gerald) Brennum, Marie Draves, and Marge (Harold) Youngs, grandson Justin Boak, and great-grandson Ryan Koch.
