Barbara L. Masson, 72, of the Point/Shoreland Community, died peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2014 while at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. She was born November 27, 1941 in Santa Ana, CA to Susan (Valencia) and Adolph Sepulveda. She managed the bank vault at Huntington Bank for 16 years retiring in 2000. Barb belonged to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for over 41 years and as a member of the OH Quilts of Valor.
Surviving are her children, Byron (Jolene) Masson, Susan (Dave) Hecht, and Aaron (Lynne) Masson; and grandchildren, Dakota, Laurin, Kathryn, Charlie and Shimmy; sister, Rosemarie Ortego, and brother, Adolph ‘Bud’ (Margaret) Sepulveda, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th and Thursday, September 11th, 2014 from 2-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 7 pm on Thursday at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Family and friends are asked to meet at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611 on Friday, September 12th at 10 am for Funeral Services with Father Anthony Borgia officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI.
