She was born in Davis County, Indiana, and moved from there with her parents to Iowa, where on July 26, 1860, she married Mr. Buttler.
Besides Mr. Buttler and their daughter, she is survived by three sisters, and a brother, Mrs. E. C. Spedden of Grangeville, Idaho, Mrs. Eliza Daily of Palouse, Washington, Mrs. Mary Morrison of Lewiston, Idaho, and A. B. Crawford of Weiser, Idaho.
