Mary Arleen Moenich (nee McCarthy), age 86, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Durham, NC and Parma, OH, passed away at her home on August 28. Born: September 12, 1927, Blackstone, MA to Augustine J. and Marie McCarthy. She was preceded in death by Raymond A. Moenich, Sr., her beloved spouse of 67 years, a brother and two sisters. She is survived by her Sons: Stephan R. Moenich (Miriam) and Raymond A. Moenich, Jr. (Terry). Daughters: Barbara A. LoPiccolo (James), Carolyn M. Grimes, Mary M. Lawrence, and Sally A. Burke (Richard), 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Margaret M. Orlosky, brother Augustine J. McCarthy, Jr., many nieces and nephews.
Arleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, cherished friend to many, a homemaker, sales associate and church volunteer. She’ll be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving concern for others.
