Margaret I. Brown, 92, of Park City, IL, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Victory Hospital in Waukegan.
She was born on January 30, 1917 to the late Henry C. and Eliza Ann (Bennett) Jennings in Brooksville, KY. She was educated in the schools of Indiana.
On March 24, 1945 she married John M. Brown in Indianapolis, IN. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1994.
Margaret was a cook at Sheridan Health Care for many years. Margaret enjoyed cross-stitching, embroidery and playing bingo at the Gurnee American Legion.
Margaret is survived by her children, Harry Pritchard of Park City, IL, Raymond Pritchard of IN, Paul (Karen) Brown of Kenosha, Mary Gustin of Bristol, Betty Mears of Park City, IL, Evelyn (Jimmy) Freeman of MS, Richard Brown of IN, Carolyn (Pete) Beccarra of IN, Janet (Jeff) DePaoli of Kenosha, Kevin Brown of Niagara, WI; her sisters, Bettie Moody of IN, Ruth McKinney of IN; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Brown of Waukegan; her 34 grandchildren and her numerous great-grandchildren.
Her son, John E. Brown; her daughters, Norma Jean and Margaret Ann Pritchard; her two brothers, her two sisters, and her one grandson preceded her in death.
Funeral Services for Margaret will be held on Friday, February 13th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Bruch Funeral Home
