Mary Agnes Boehne, 85, of Glen Carbon, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 5, 1929, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home in Edwardsville, Ill. Mary Agnes was a long time member of S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville. She treasured many friendships developed during her time at Edgemont Bank, the YMCA and as a Project Linus volunteer. She enjoyed playing bridge and will be remembered for her kind heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville H. Boehne; and her parents, John E. and Agnes C., nee Walsh, Cusack. Surviving are her son, Tim (Mary) Boehne of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter, Ann (Larry) Powell of Maryville, Ill.; two sisters, Kay Smallridge of Rochester, N.Y., and Pat Skinner of Fairview Heights, Ill.; three grandchildren, Caitlin, Grant and Sean Boehne; and nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family is especially grateful to the staff at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home. Memorials may be made to S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
