E. Frank Munger, son of George and Nannie Wilcox Munger, was born May 30, 1903, at Belleville, and died November 17, 1990, at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, at the age of 87 years, five months and 17 days.
He attended Belleville public schools and graduated from Belleville High School. He also attended Kansas University, Lawrence, and Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
He was united in marriage to Lorene M. Kesl, October 6, 1934, at Lebanon. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company and they lived in southern Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas. They later returned to Belleville where they resided the past several years.
He was engaged in farming and was owner of the Belleville Bottling Company for a number of years.
He was a member of Belleville Lodge No. 129 AF&AM, Belleville, and other Masonic bodies. He attended the Presbyterian Church in Cuba. He served on the Belleville City Council for two terms.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Cecil; two sisters, Georgia Potter and Callie Jones. He is survived by his wife of the home; nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services were held at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel of Belleville, Monday, November 19, conducted by Rev. Tom Ballard. Interment was in Belleville cemetery. Graveside services were conducted by Belleville Lodge No. 129 AF&AM, Belleville.
