Death This Morning of Ed L. Tillotson

Edward L. Tillotson, 1025 C avenue, Nevada, 68, died this morning at 4:30 at his home. He had been in poor health the past five years.

Born Dec. 30, 1883, in Polk county, son of William and Lydia Tillotson, he had lived in Nevada practically his entire life.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ryan Funeral home. Burial will be in the Story county Memorial Gardens south of Ames. The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until the time of service.

Mr. Tillotson was a member of the Nevada Christian church and of the Modern Woodman and Royal Neighbors lodges.

He is survived by his wife, Winifred, two sons, W. Cole of Jessup and David S. of Fredericksburg, and one daughter Mrs. Percy Vining of Nevada. He also leaves one brother, Dave Tillotson of Riceville and one sister, Mrs. Amy Banks of Nevada in addition to six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
