Marion E. Marescalco, 91, formerly of Kenosha late of Shawano, WI, passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at Evergreen Nursing Home in Shawano.

Born on October 8, 1917 in Marinette, WI, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Bertha (Myers) Gericke.

On May 3, 1941 she married Anthony E. Marescalco. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1996.

Marion was employed by Jockey International until she had her son and then stayed home to raise her child.

Marion was an avid Bingo player.

Survivors include her son, James (Sharon) Marescalco of Shawano; two grandchildren, Lisa (Gregg) Ovsak of Bloomington, MN and Todd (Joy) Marescalco of Milwaukee and two great grandchildren, Sydney and Michael Ovsak.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Christian Jr., Theodore and Carl; and her sisters, Lucille, Bernice, Margaret and Lorraine.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home.
