Bruner, Barbara Ann, 82, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Brandenburg, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving children at Westminster Terrace Healthcare Center in Louisville. Barbara was born November 5, 1931 in Bargersville, IN, to the late Sol and Wynema Sprinkle Esarey.

Her husband Elmer Carlton Bruner preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Roger) Layman and Donna Phelps, both of Louisville; two sons, Rodney (Karen) Bruner of Shepherdsville and Roger (Kim) Bruner of Louisville; six grandchildren, Rachel (Brian) Argabright, Jason (Samantha) Bruner, Dustin Bruner, Logan Bruner, Sydney Reynolds and Justin Reynolds; six great-grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Argabright, Jordan and Landen Bruner and Miya Williams; and one brother, Bernard Esarey of DeQueen, AR.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. EDT from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery.
