Immigrated to the United States when a young boy. Became a naturalized citizen in Denver, CO

Ran the Colorado Grocery in Reno for many years.
Joined the Reno Police Department in August of 1925 where he became a Captain.

He had spent the last two weeks in Fullerton with his daughter in hopes that the ocean would help his failing health.

He is survived by his widow Alice B., son Bernard of Salt Lake City, UT; daughters Alice Ford of Buena Patk, CA, Martha Lee Pitts of Fullerton, CA and Louise Cann of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Reno.

His wife was born 10 Oct 1881 in KY and died 29 Apr 1972 at Seal Beach, Orange, CA.
