BLAIRSVILLE.
The family of Peter Lear, who resides two miles north of this place, had a family reunion on the 7th inst. All the children--thirteen in number--were present, this being the first time in the history of the family that all the children were home at once. All the family except four are married. On the occasion referred to 28 of the family relations were present and all seemed to enjoy the meeting very much. This is doubtless the last gathering of the kind that the family will ever celebrate as one of the daughters, Mrs. Morton, started for her home at Fall River, Kansas, on last Monday evening. The other members of the family are very much scattered and in all probability will never all meet again.

LOCAL CORRESPONDENCE.
BLAIRSVILLE.
The family of Mr. Peter Lear, of Burrell township, held a pleasant reunion on Thanksgiving day. All the children, of whom there are 13, were present, and a number of grandchildren, twenty-one in all, and one great-grandchild. This is an exceptional family not only on account of its size, but the fact that death has never entered their ranks. A very pleasant time was enjoyed at this happy family reunion, and joyous reminiscences of childhood's happy hours were the order of the day. A group of the entire family was taken by Photographer Dilts of this place.

Mr. and Mrs. Lear are the parents of 13 children, all living. Only seven were able to be at the celebration Thursday. Some lived too far away to come, and others were detained on account of sickness. There are also 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The day was mostly spent in talking over old times. A sumptuous repast was served, after which the worthy couple were presented with many useful and beautiful presents.
