A resident of 1206 Martin Street, Nashville, she was 67 years old and the wife of T C Eastland when she died of pancreatic cancer on August 30, 1943 at Nashville's Saint Thomas Hospital. Burial was on October 2nd in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville. {It is noted that her cemetery marker has her date of death as September 30, 1943, BUT her Death Certificate - which is almost always the most accurate record for death - has it as August 30, 1943.}
