Ruth (Robinson) Scott, 92, of Woodruff, SC, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at Pelham Medical Center.
A native of Edgefield County, she was the daughter of the late Will and Deb (Huckaby) Robinson and was the widow of Vernon Belton Scott.
A member of Crestview Baptist Church, she was a retired textile employee.
Surviving are two daughters, Lorene Jones of the home and Ann Smith (Tommy) of Woodruff; one son, Danny Scott (Jane) of Woodruff; one sister, Alice Lawrence of Woodruff; one brother, LeRoy Robinson of North Augusta; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandaughter.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ellen Turner and two sons, Jerry Scott and Heyward Scott.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Crestview Baptist Church by Rev. Darrell Bailey. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation was held 1:00-2:45 P.M. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
