Michael E. Baltrip, 58, of Temperance, passed away peacefully in his home on July 7, 2014 with Karen, his wife of 19 years, by his side.
#Michael was born May 13, 1956 in Monroe. He was the son of Boyd and Dolores (Thompson) Baltrip. He married Karen Tankersley August 28, 1995.
He was employed by Jefferson Smurfit for 21 years.
Michael was a graduate of Mason High School.
He is survived by his wife Karen, two children, Amanda and Christopher; step sister, Sandy (Bob); brothers, Mark (Vicky) Baltrip, Roger Baltrip and Scott (Sue) Baltrip and sister-in-law, Sue Baltrip. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Shirley and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Boyd Baltrip.
The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. until a memorial service at 6 p.m. Thursday July 10 at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Rd., Monroe. Rev. Bobby Baltrip will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Arbor Hospice.
