Blanche Irene DeWitt, 91, of Big Pine Key, Fla., died at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 1995 in her residence. Born Sept. 9, 1903, in Pecatonica, daughter of Richard and Amanda Johnson Moore. Married Russell DeWitt in Pecatonica on Jan. 21, 1923; he died Feb. 11, 1985. Employed by Ford Motor in Pecatonica, and National Lock Co. and Allen's Crockery in Rockford. Member of Beth-Eden United Methodist Church and regularly attended Vineyard Christian Center in Big Pine Key.

Survived by three daughters, Lorraine (Gerald) Eppenbaugh of Rockford, Jeannine Bennehoff of Freeport and Donita (Paul) Rosenberg of Big Pine Key; son, Crawford (Phyllis) DeWitt of Rockford; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers, Oscar and Alfred Moore; three sisters, Bertha Mack, Myrtle Brauer and Esther Golden; and son-in-law, Melvin Bennehoff, on April 11, 1995.

Services at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31 in Delehanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with the Rev. James Crone, pastor of Beth-Eden United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Pecatonica Cemetery. Visitation from 10 a.m. to time of services Monday in the funeral home.
