Jack L. Clemans, age 78, of Buchanan died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at River Ridge Manor, Niles. Jack was born February 24, 1936 in Buchanan to the late Donald and Daisy (Snyder) Clemans. On June19, 1954 in Buchanan he married Kathryn A. Bliss who preceded him in death on August 26, 2012. Survivors include two daughters: Pamela Clemans of Stevensville, MI, and Jackie (Joseph) Dembinski of Niles, MI; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters: Betty Neidlinger, Melody Weaver and Onlee Clemans all of Niles. Two brothers, Donald and Jim Clemans preceded him in death.

Jack graduated from BuchananHigh School; prior to his retirement he drove truck for several area trucking companies. Services celebrating his life will be Friday, Sept. 5th 11:00 a.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan, with Pastor Rob McPherson of First United Methodist Church officiating. A time for visiting with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
