Dresden; William Harris Pritchett, retired Dresden, postmaster and former president of the Tennessee Postal Association, died Thursday, at the Obion County General Hospital in Union City. He was 71 years old.
Services were held Saturday at the First Methodist Church. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery with Anderson Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Pritchett was a lifelong resident of Dresden, a veteran of World War I and a Mason. He retired about ten years ago, due to illness, after 23 years of service as postmaster. He was a Methodist.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ethyle Edmonston Pritchett and one brother, Olla Pritchett of Dresden.
