DAWSON--April 19th, Rex Leland, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dawson of 3005 Champlain Street, in the General Hospital after a brief illness, at the age of 65 years. Born in Cherokee, Iowa, he was employed with the Standard of New Jersey organization from 1918 to 1953, coming to Calgary in 1948 with Imperial Oil. Ltd. He was recently employed with Siebens Leaseholds Ltd. as a petroleum consultant. He was a member of Calgary Petroleum Club, the Alberta Landsmen's Association, and a member of Sacred Heart church. He served with the American Armed Forces in the First Great War. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by one son, Robert Brian Dawson, Edmonton; one granddaughter; one brother, Bishop Dana Dawson, Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Leah Bickett, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Arthur Genge, Boise, Idaho.
