Mrs. Marguerite Reavis
Mrs. Marguerite Callen Reavis, widow of Loyd Reavis, Sr., a longtime Dresden dry-goods merchant, died Thursday morning at the Obion County General Hospital in Union City, after a heart attack.
Services were held Friday at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Sunset Cemetery.
Mrs. Reavis was born in Selma, Alabama, but had lived in Dresden for the past 40 years. She was an active member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She leaves a son, Loyd Reavis, Jr. of Dresden; a brother, A.R. Callen of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and three grandchildren.
