LINCOLNTON — William Darrell Wilson Sr., 60, 726 Landers Chapel Road, died May 29, 2004, at home. He was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Gaston County, son of William A. Wilson of Crouse and the late Maude Haynes Wilson. FUNERAL: 8 p.m. Tuesday, Carpenters Funeral Home, Cone Memorial Chapel INTERMENT: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Eaker Cemetery, Crouse VISITATION: 6-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, funeral home Darrell was a member of Leonard's Fork Baptist Church, avid fisherman, and retired driver from Metromont Materials with 41 years service. SURVIVORS: Two sons, William Darrell Wilson Jr. and wife, Belinda, Lincolnton, and Michael James Wilson and wife, Claudette, Bessemer City; sister, Carolyn Wilson Russell and husband, Jerry, Crouse; brother, Glenn Wilson and wife, Carolyn, Cherryville; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Wilson, Bessemer City, Michael John Wilson, Clover, S.C., James E. Mosley III, Justin Mosley and April Mosley, all of Gastonia, and Zeke James Wilson, Bessemer City; several nieces and nephews PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to mother, wife, Edith Gale Rudisill, who died in 2001 OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev.
