Loretta was born on April 7, 1929 in Clay County, the daughter of John Franklin and Nellie Margaret (Wease) Pettyjohn.
She was a member of the Clay City Garden Club Unit 8. Loretta enjoyed quilting and spending time with family and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. Loretta was a member of the Clay City Christian Church.
Loretta is survived by her son, Danny E. Wilder; Son, Larry D. Wilder; Daughter, Phyllis K. Cox and husband, Gary; Son, Paul F. Wilder; Daughter, Lynn Wilder; 11 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.
Although Loretta was an only child, she was blessed with cousins who were more like sisters. Surviving cousins include Karen Marlow, Carol Raley, Rena Thomas, Donna Given, Cheryl Hampton and Terry Lentz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
