Dies In New Jersey City
News was received here yesterday of the death in Newark, N.J., of Miss Catherine Battle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Battle, of Hayes Barton.
Miss Battle, 19, was on a visit to her aunt, Mrs. W.M. Everett in Summit, N.J. Her death was caused by an attack of influenza and sleeping sickness. Her body will arrive in Raleigh this afternoon at 5 o'clock. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.
