OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - Saturday, March 4, 2006

Faire Binford, 101, Peru, passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2006 at Miller's Merry Manor East, Wabash, following an extended illness.
She was born on October 8, 1904 in Wabash to Grant U. and Matilda (Amber) Long, and married Joe Binford, who preceded her in death on February 21, 1983.
Binford attended Oakdale Baptist Church, Peru.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Peggy Chittum, Peru, Margie Foster, Wabash, Dick Kramer, Wabash, Grant Long, Wabash, Sally Mullett, Wabash, Hilda Camp, Wabash, and John Summerland, Wabash.
Aside from her parents and husband, Binford was preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers, Ethel Miller, Marie Summerland, Minnie Hipskin, Donald Long, Marjorie W. Lidden, Permilia ‘Peg' Miller, Mildred Kramer, Grace Elbel, Kenneth Long, and Robert Long.
Graveside services will be conducted at Falls Cemetery, Wabash on Monday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Brent Kirby officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru.
