Son of Edward Grant and Catherine Cairns.
Ambrose V. Grant and Nellie Sullivan were married Nov. 5, 1903 at Boston, Massachusetts.
Ambrose Victor Grant applied for homestead entry Aug. 22, 1911 on the SE22-26-8W4, near Heathdale, Alberta.

GRANT--February 25th, 1969, Ambrose Vincent [sic] Grant, aged 89 years, formerly of Calgary, High River, Chinook, Alta., and Nanton, Alta. Predeceased by his wife, Ellen Frances, at Nanton in 1928, and a son, Simon Edward, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. D. (Katherine) Munroe, New York, Mrs. G. (Mary) Skeen, Calgary, Mrs. A. (Margaret) Hogg, High River, and Mrs. J. (Julia) Walton, Creston, B.C., two sons, Phillip of San Francisco, and Paul of Calgary, twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren. He was a member of the Legion of Mary and a past member of the Knights of Columbus.
